Before starting turn 4 I fixed a mistake I made with a mob entering a roadblock square. They can not do that. I moved it the next logical way. The AEO once again won initiative this turn. Only one roadblock spawned a MMC, a 0-2-4. Meanwhile my shaken unit failed its rally attempt with the medic. Darn. The turn begins with a battle around the crash site. The AEO has the 2 adjacent MMC's with RPG's fire into the crash site, luckily one did no damage and the other missed entirely. I remembered I need to place acquisition markers in the square since the RPG's are ordnance. This essentially gives a bonus if the units attacks with the RPG again next turn.
I decided to use my Delta sniper to attack the leader in N5. It manages to shake him, as you will soon see this would be the last action the sniper team was able to take.
The AEO's 1-3-4 MMC that was stacked with the leader is ordered into melee. (It was under the leader's counter.) Per module rules, Somali units must make a morale check before attempting this. They passed, and a melee ensued. In order to get best odds the AEO could only attack one of my units, therefore it attacked my sniper team as that was the more powerful unit overall. Unfortunately for me, the AEO rolled an 8, enough to eliminate my sniper team. However in the Lock 'n Load Tactical system, melee happens at the same time and both sides get to act before units are taken off the map because of elimination. I of course attack with my crew and sniper team. That was enough to eliminate the Somali 1-3-4. This left only my crew as the last man standing.
Meanwhile my leader's stack is almost at the crash site after I move it again. Luckily they are out of range of that 0-2-4 nearby.
The AEO attempts to fire on my shaken squad with an RPG equipped unit, but that too misses. and on my turn I move the squad into a building. From that point on the AEO activated mobs and the remaining units it had, though at one point I decide it prudent to assault move Hanson towards the aforementioned 0-2-4 by my leaders stack. It opportunity fires, but my there was no effect on the DFT. I fire at it in the same impulse and the 0-2-4 was eliminated.
Afterwards the AEO finished up activating mobs and units. A couple of them have moved adjacent to the crash site, a 0-2-4 and 0-3-4 to be exact. I decided to take a picture after I removed the admin counters to give a better view of the end of the turn. The crash site is in danger of falling.
